In 1942 Sarah moved to Budapest. She helped refugees from Slovakia by supplying them with food cards and forged documents. Sarah left Hungary on the train of the “Relief and Rescue Committee”. Her daughter was born in Switzerland.
Sarah arrived in Eretz Israel (Palestine) in September 1945. She is a member of Kibbutz Negba.
